Vertical Pipe Unit Retrieval, Washington Closure Hanford

Vertical Pipe Units (VPUs) are pipes buried in the ground that were used to store radioactive laboratory waste from 1954 to 1963.

Bogies, Bechtel National, Inc.

Wagstaff Applied Technologies was contracted by Bechtel National, Inc. at the Waste Treatment Plant to design, build, test, and deliver 11 Bogies, in seven unique designs.

Fresh Fuel Shipping Containers, AREVA

Wagstaff Applied Technologies was contracted AREVA Federal Services to fabricate and test Fresh Fuel Shipping Containers to transport highly enriched reactor fuel for the Advanced Test Reactor at the Idaho National Lab.

HFEF Waste Cans, Idaho National Lab

Wagstaff Applied Technologies was contracted by Battelle Energy Alliance, Managing and Operating Contractor for the Idaho National Lab, to build Hot Fuel Examination Facility (HFEF) Waste Canisters for the disposal of waste from the HFEF facility within the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) at the Idaho National Lab.

Lifting Beams, Bechtel National, Inc.

Wagstaff Applied Technologies was contracted by Bechtel National, Inc. at the Waste Treatment Plant in Richland, WA to design, fabricate, test, and deliver 26 lifting beams for use in black cells at the High-Level Waste facility. All of the lifting beams are ASME BTH-1 and B30.20 code compliant.

Cask Transfer System, Idaho National Lab

The Cask Transfer System aids in nuclear materials research by facilitating shipment of radioactive materials to locations that aren't large enough to handle the BRR Cask.

Avista Little Falls Dam

Wagstaff AT is manufacturing three sets of new wicket gates, along with distributor disks, for the Little Falls Dam in Post Falls, Idaho.

Avista Nine Mile Unit 4

The Avista Nine Mile Unit 4 project involved rehabilitation of many turbine related components.

Avista Noxon Rapids HED Units 2 and 4

The Avista Noxon Rapids Unit 2 and 4 projects involved refurbishment of existing components and manufacture of new components. Both projects were successfully completed on time.

Idaho Falls Power Old Lower Powerhouse

The Idaho Falls Power Old Lower Powerhouse project included refurbishment of the component for two Kaplan turbine hydropower generators.
