Established by George Wagstaff in 1946, the company still operates with the foundational family values of respect, trust, and cooperation.  Many employees and customers alike have equated their involvement with the company with a feeling of being a part of the “Wagstaff Family.”

Corporate Responsibility

Wagstaff recognizes that corporations are more than just numbers. Responsible, sustainable performance goes beyond the bottom line and involves and impacts all stakeholders, including customers, employees, shareholders, and suppliers, along with the environment and community in which the company operates.

Based on principles of customer satisfaction, active excellence, and an open, innovative work environment, Wagstaff’s business practices are an extension of the values on which the company was founded more than 70 years ago. These values drive and influence company activities in customer service, employee relations, business transactions, environmental protection, and community involvement.

In addition to corporate philanthropy and involvement in the local community, Wagstaff encourages its employees to get involved with community activities through volunteerism.  As a key employer in the area, Wagstaff provides economic stimulus to the community while sustaining its commitment to local manufacturing. While many companies have moved operations offshore, Wagstaff prides itself in the manufacture of 100% of its products at its two facilities in Spokane, Washington, and Hebron, Kentucky.

Wagstaff maintains compliance and is in good standing with all regulatory requirements regarding environmental protection. Significant measures are taken in manufacturing and daily operations to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Taking sustainability a step further, Wagstaff casting equipment is designed with pollution reduction and energy requirements in mind.

Integrity and Ethics

Above all else, Wagstaff’s mission is to provide the best possible value in equipment, processes, systems and service, while keeping the Wagstaff name synonymous with superior quality and customer satisfaction. This mission is carried out through ethical business practices and worldclass standards of integrity. Wagstaff employees are held to high standards in ethics and values when operating both in and outside the company.
